About The Director

Damilola Banwo Oyalaja has a Masters Degree in Psychology from the University of South Wales, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Degree from SRM University, India. She has a diploma in Childhood Studies, Educational Psychology, Teaching Children with Special Needs through online professional development platforms and a Certification from Vera School for Autistic Learners, Cape Town, South Africa.Damilola is passionate about working with children and young Adults with Disabilities and this she has demonstrated with over 10years of experience working with children and young adults with Special Needs, in mainstream schools, play centers, activity clubs and youth Workform Development programs. She has worked with individuals with Autism, cerebral palsy, specific learning disabilities amongst others as Special Educational Needs Teacher, home therapist, youth Workforce development Case Manager amongst others.Damilola has hosted/convened and facilitated conferences, workshops on Special Educational Needs and Vocational Training for Individuals with Disabilities. She has received different Awards of Service from trainings, workshops and conferences she has facilitated. Her professional interests focus on Special Educational Needs, Behavioral Modification, Research and Vocational Skills Acquisition for Individuals with Disabilties.Her most significant accomplishment is her ability to leverage her role as a Certified Coach/Mentor after being awarded a Fellow, Professional Coach, and Mentor from the prestigious Institute of Corporate Mentoring and Coaching, Nigeria. Also, being the host of the Annual Special Educational Needs School Outreach, and Special Needs Vocational Outreach (which provides both virtual and physical training platforms for educators, parents, and professionals working with individuals with Disabilities), provides the opportunity to ensure that adequate information on best practices and standards are available to everyone who supports individuals with Disabilities.
