KTC-KYC Academy is a subsidiary of KTC-KYC Educational Consult Limited that focuses on building Vocational and Independent Living Skills amongst young people living with a disability.
It is a vocational training school for young adults living with disabilities. These young adults are taught both soft and hard skills to enable them live functional and independent lives.
The vision is to promote Employability, Sustainability, Financial Stability, and Independent Living through Vocational Development Training Programs for Young Adults Living with Disabilities to enable them to thrive in society.
This vision is brought to life by training the young adults on soft and hard skills they will need to live as functionally and independently as possible. Some Soft skills taught include: emotional intelligence, financial intelligence, work readiness, etc
The hard skills taught depends on the flair of the student. Some include hair making, makeup, and tailoring.
Depending on the interest and needs of each student who is enrolled at the academy, they get to learn a vocation channeled towards that interest, thereby given them the platform to explore and thrive.
